How to Leave a Discord server

So leave a Discord server on the desktop application

Leaving a Discord server in the desktop application is very fast and requires only a few clicks or touches. Learn how to do it.

  • Open the Discord app and log in if necessary.
  • Find the server you want to leave.
  • Right-click or tap the server icon you want to exit.
  • From the drop-down menu, select leave Server.
  • When prompted, choose to leave the server at the pop-up confirmation prompt.

You have left this server and will no longer receive notifications from it. If you want to access it or get information again, you will need to sign up again.

How to leave a Discord server in the mobile application

You can also leave a Discord server through the mobile application. This is no more complicated than the desktop application.

  • Open Discord app on smartphone or other device.
  • In the menu on the left, select the server you want to leave.
  • Hold down the server name.
  • Choose to leave the server. When prompted, select Exit server again to confirm.

  • You have left the server. If you want to access it again or receive notifications, you will need to reconnect to the server.

How to transfer ownership of a Discord server to the desktop

Transferring ownership to a server takes just a few clicks or clicks, and you can hand over your beloved server to a trusted member for further management.

  • Choose which Discord server you want to broadcast.
  • Right-click or tap the server icon. Then choose Server Settings> Members.

Transferring ownership of your mobile app requires a few extra steps, but it’s quick and easy.

  • Select the server you want to transfer ownership to and tap the three-point menu in the upper right.
  • Select the Settings wheel icon.
  • Scroll down and select Members.
  • Transfer ownership of a server to the Discord Mobile application.
  • Next to the member to whom you want to transfer ownership, select the three-point menu and select Transfer ownership.
  • When prompted, check the box to confirm your choice and select Owner transfer.
  • Confirm the transfer of ownership in the Discord Mobile app.

That member now owns the server and can do whatever he wants with it.
