As a popular mobile phone, the iPhone 13 has already received attention before it was released. Rumours have been circulating about what Apple has in store for it ahead of the launch. Now that the IPhone 13 has been released for a while, we can take a look at the specific innovations and changes. Here are all the details you need to know before buying an iPhone 13 in 2022.

No home button

The iPhone 13 will not have a home button. This is because Apple is moving to an all-screen design. Without a home button, you’ll have to use Face ID to unlock your phone. There will also be a new way to access the Control Centre.

The iPhone 13 doesn’t have a headphone jack. This means that you’ll need to use Bluetooth headphones or earbuds with your phone. Some people may find this inconvenient, but it’s really not a big deal.

Water resistance

The iPhone 13 is water resistant for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to four meters, which is twice as deep as the iPhone 12. It also has a new feature called Liquid Retina XDR, which makes the display brighter and more responsive in direct sunlight.

The device features an Apple A13 Bionic processor that’s five times faster than the previous generation processor.

The resolution of the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 small is 2340×1080 at 476 pixels per inch, while the resolution of the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 is 2532 x 1170 at 460 pixels per inch.

Wide colour support creates vibrant, true-to-life colours, and True Tone adjusts the display’s white balance to the surrounding illumination for an eye-friendly viewing experience similar to that of reading on paper.

A fingerprint-repellent oleo phobic coating and support for Haptic Touch, which gives haptic feedback while manipulating the display, are also included.

For the iPhone 13 models, Apple is still using the “Ceramic Shield” material, which offers superior drop protection. Nano-ceramic crystals are infused into glass to create the Ceramic Shield display cover.
